Its compact size makes installation easy in any tight spaces, making it ideal for various SOHO and home network applications. The upgraded model also features a power consumption reduction of nearly 23%, contributing to energy savings without sacrificing performance, while still delivering high-speed, reliable network connectivity for up to 50 users.

PLANET Fast Ethernet Switch FSD-803 provides business and home users with a cost-effective integrated system of small-office / home-office networking. It is suitable for a network of 10 to 50 users, delivering a data rate of up to 100Mbps.

 

Stable Fast Ethernet Switch Performance

The FSD-803 also supports a Store-and-Forward forwarding scheme to ensure low latency and high data integrity. Its high-performance throughput like filtering and forwarding rates of 14,880 packets per second at 10Mbps, and 148,800 packets per second at 100Mbps is enhanced. Moreover, its built-in packet buffer helps the FSD-803 to boost bandwidth, eliminating unnecessary congested traffic. With an intelligent address recognition algorithm, the FSD-803 can identify up to 1K different MAC addresses and provide 1Gbps switching capacity. This makes the FSD-803 the best in wire-speed packet transfer performance without the risk of packet loss.

Plug & Play 

All RJ45 copper interfaces on the FSD-803 support 10/100Mbps auto-negotiation for optimal speed detection through RJ45 Category 5/5e cables. The auto-MDI/MDI-X function can detect the type of connection to any Ethernet device without requiring special straight-through or crossover cables. The flow control function allows the FSD-803 to support routers and servers for direct connection to this switch with fast and reliable data transfer.
