The 10GBASE-T SFP + transceiver module provides flexibility and good port density with the SFP + form-factor, using the Cat 6a UTP cable structure for network connectivity.

This is a solution to optimize power for cable lengths up to 30m, designed to produce a minimum power savings of at least 0.5W per port compared to RJ45 10GBASE-T connectors for the same length (Cat 6a, up to 30m). This power savings can be added in switch connectivity with models: ToR (Top of the Rack), mid-row (middle row) and end-of-row (end of line) connectivity.

An alternative to standard SFP + SR / LR fiber optics, which uses standard-based technology with familiar RJ45 connectors and provides compatibility with existing networks.
